What do the colored A–E letters mean?
They are Nutri-Score grades from Open Food Facts: a simplified A-to-E scale for the nutritional profile of a product compared with similar foods (same category), not a personal medical recommendation.
- A–B — comparatively better profile in that category.
- C — average for the category.
- D–E — comparatively less favorable in that category.
If a card has no letter, Open Food Facts often has no Nutri-Score for that product yet. .
